Monday Work

After an “American” breakfast which was good, we headed off to the camp to work. Here are a couple of pictures of the facility. The picture on the left is from the soccer field. The one on the right is the main meeting area. I’ll post some pictures of the rest of the facility later.

The tasks we worked on were:

  • Moving cement board up the hill to the meeting area.
  • Moving bricks from the bottom of the hill to both the left and right sides of the meeting area to build a wall.
  • Welding metal struts in the ceiling to hold the cement board in place.
  • Starting to put the cement board in place.
  • Putting in wiring for lights in the ceiling.
  • Started a wall for a storage room.
  • Making friends with the kids of the Thai workers.

Lunch time. Notice the dogs waiting patiently for handouts. There were 7 dogs wandering around, all well-behaved.
